Instructions:
1. Apply the blue and green inks directly from the ink pad to the canvas by swiping the ink pad in different directions across the canvas. Swipe the Coffee Bean ink pad over those colors slightly to "dirty it up" a little.

2. Cut all papers as stated in the supplies. Using a neutral piece of paper from the paper collection, cut out the letter (M in my case) using the Cricut Cutting machine at 5 1/2". Cut out a shadow of the same letter on blue paper if your cartridge allows it or mount your letter onto a piece of blue paper and cut slightly larger around the letter to make a shadow letter. Adhere the small letter stickers onto the large letter to spell the name out completely and stamp a sentiment ("hilarious") on the other end of the letter. Stamp another descriptive sentiment on the bottom right of the green rectangle. Stamp the date disk image onto a piece of blue and then line up the 1 1/4" circle punch to punch the disk out. Stamp "love you" onto one of the tags from the paper collection.

3. When all of your elements are cut out, stamped, inked, etc. Lay them out on the canvas as desired. Do not adhere them as you go along. Remove the pieces from the canvas keeping track of where you want each piece laid out. Using a paint brush, brush a layer of the gel medium onto the canvas and apply your bottom layer of elements to the canvas. Brush another layer of the gel medium over those elements and add the next layer of papers/letters/tags/etc.. Repeat until all the pieces have been adhered to the canvas and coated over the top with one last layer of the gel medium. Refer to the photos for layout. The layers are easily visible. Set aside to dry.

4. Adhere the Terrifically Tacky Tape around the entire edge of the canvas. Peel off the protective covering and adhere your ribbon all the way around. This will cover up the staples on the canvas.
