By Peggie Wilkins
Rubber Roadsters
Advanced Stamping Team Designer

This project makes a nice card that could easily be turned into a wall hanging by adding a ribbon to hang it from.

Supplies:
Old or Junk Mail CD
Blossoms Stamp Set (The Angel Company)
Butterfly GWP Stamp (The Angel Company)
Mini Script Stamp Set (The Angel Company)
Silver Metallic Inkpad (Encore)
Copper Embossing Powder
White Diamond Embossing Powder (JudiKins)
Pearl-Ex Powder (Jacquard Powder)
    #680 Duo Red Blue
          #650 Micro Pearl
    #681 Duo Blue Green
Gum Arabic
Spray Starch
7” Square Black Cardstock
8 ½ x 11” Green Marble Cardstock
Scrap of White Cardstock
Heart Swirl Clip
6” Ribbon cut in two
3 Pink Flower Rhinestones
2 Green Flower Rhinestones
Glue Stick (Duck)
Circle Coluzzle Cutting System
15” Trim
Foam Brush
Small Paint Brush
Scotch Tape
Heat Tool (Marvy)

Instructions:

1.      Cut black cardstock with circle Coluzzle with the largest circle and then cut the smallest circle in the center.

2.      Spray the cardstock with spray starch and then sprinkle the Duo Blue Green Pearl Ex on the cardstock.   Swirl around with the foam brush and let dry.

3.      Stamp the lilies from the Blossom Stamp Set three times and the words from the Mini Script Stamp Set on the circle of black cardstock with the silver ink. Sprinkle ink with White Diamond embossing powder, return excess powder to jar, and heat emboss with heat tool.

4.      Stamp the butterfly on the black cardstock with the silver inkpad.  Sprinkle ink with Copper embossing powder, return excess powder to jar, and heat emboss with heat tool.

5.      Stamp the butterfly on a scrap piece of white cardstock with the silver inkpad. Sprinkle ink with Copper embossing powder, return excess powder to jar, and heat emboss with heat tool.  Cut out the butterfly and ink the wrong side with the silver inkpad and heat emboss with Copper embossing powder.

6.      Mix equal parts of Micro Pearl and Red-Blue Pearl-Ex, mix in 1 part gum Arabic to 4 parts of pearl-ex.  Add a little water until mixture is the consistency of creamy paint. Paint the flowers with this mixture.

7.      Glue the decorated black cardstock to the CD.

8.      Glue the rhinestones as shown in photo.

9.      Wrap the ribbon around the heart clip on both sides and the wrap it around the CD and tape in place.

10.  Bend the butterfly at the body and glue just the body to the butterfly on the black cardstock.

11.  Fold the green marble cardstock in half.

12.  Cut a circle out of the cardstock at the fold so that you have a circle card. Cut the middle circle from the center using the Coluzzle circle cutting system.

13.  Glue the trim to the paper and then glue this paper to the CD.
