Here's fun little gift to give friends and family. They won't be able to resist the little giggle when they open the hands!

Supplies:

Faerie Song stamps (names unknown)

Hand template (Mirkwood Designs)

Ivory pearl paper cut to 11”x2-½” (Marco’s Paper)

Cord cover paper (Marco’s paper)

Palette Noir Ink Pad (Tsukineko)

Green acrylic paint (Plaid)

Turquoise Luna Light acrylic paint (Stamp Oasis)

Gold Luna Light acrylic paint (Stamp Oasis)

Shimmer chalk (Pebbles Inc)

Spray sealer (Krylon)

Matte Accents (Inkssentials)

Colored glitter (source unknown)

Colorful fiber (craft store)

Paint Brush

O’So Sticky Adhesive – either the ½” tape or sheet type, cut to size (PennyWiseArts)

Directions: 

1.    Go to the Mirkwood Designs website and print out the hand template onto scrap cardstock and cut out.

2.    Trace the template onto the back side of Cord cover paper twice (mirror images so there is a right hand and a left hand.) Cut out both hands.

3.    Paint smooth side of hands with layers of gold, turquoise, and green paints. Keep layers thin so all the colors peek through.

4.    With the Noir ink, stamp the fairy onto center portion of pearl paper strip.

5.    Color with chalk and spray to seal.

6.    Fold ivory pearl paper into an accordion book with 2” sections.

7.    Dry brush the textured side of the hands with turquoise paint.

8.    Stamp the sentiment with black ink on “left” hand

9.  Using the O’So Sticky Adhesive, attach the accordion book to hands so that the top of the accordion is on the left hand and the bottom is on the right.

10. Tie fiber to left “wrist.”

11. Add glitter using Matte Accents as adhesive
