Designer Challenge Sponsored by Faerie Song Art Stamps Dreams and Moonbeams By: Bea Rosenleaf Fantasy stamps are difficult for me to use. My first reaction to the stamps I received from Heather was dreaming. Thus this card. I tried to evoke a sense of the dreams we have when sleeping. I hope I achieved my goal! Supplies: Blue Cardstock, folded to create a top-fold Instructions: Create Background on Blue Card: Create Monoprint Background: 2. There will be inks left on the craft sheet. Take a second piece of white glossy cardstock and repeat step 1. Lift the paper straight up. You will notice the colors are more muted and lighter than the first piece. This is called "Second Generation Monoprinting". This is the piece we will use for this card. Create the Rest of the Card: 2. Take the piece of yellow moon paper and adhere to the embossed black cardstock. Tear around the edges creating a mat around the black cardstock. Attach this at an angle to the left side of the blue card. 3. Take the piece of glossy cardstock with the monoprint background on it and stamp the faerie with Versamark ink. Be careful when stamping on glossy paper, the stamp tends to slide. Sprinkle image with black embossing powder and heat until melted. Trim around the image. 4. Apply Crystal Stickles to the wings of the faerie. Set aside to dry. 5. Using the black ink pad and the 'Dream' stamp, stamp at an angle on the blue card above the black matted faerie. 6. Take the lower case 'o' and 'f' from the alphabet stamp set and attach to an acrylic block. Stamp the word 'of' approximately in the middle of the card at the top. 7. Now take the 'Chasing Moonbeams' and ink up with the black ink and stamp on the right-hand side of the top of the card. 8. The Stickles should be dry by now. Apply 3-D dots to the back of the glossy faerie and adhere to the card, overlapping just a bit on the right side of the black faerie.
