Alcohol Ink Smoosh

By Angie Secrest
Crafty Cruisers
Intermediate Stamping Team Designer

Here's a quick way to make a background and card that looks like you spent hours making it! Come join me and see how easy it really is!! You will astound your friends with your 'super' technique!

Supplies:
Adirondack Alcohol Inks: (Ranger)
• Rust
• Carmel
• Red Pepper
Adirondack Metallic Mixatives: (Ranger)
• Gold
Alcohol Ink Blending Solution (Ranger)
Black Archival Ink Pad (Ranger)
Lighthouse Stamp (The Angel Company [TAC])
Verse Stamp (TAC)
Craft Sheet (Ranger)
White Glossy Card Stock (cut to card size)

Instructions:

1. Tape craft sheet down to work surface.
2. Shake the metallic mixative until you hear the balls inside. Drop a few drops or make a
line of the metallic mixative on craft sheet.
3. Next drop random drops of the various alcohol inks onto the sheet directly onto the
    metallic mixative.
4. Sprinkle blending solution over all inks.
5. Place glossy cardstock glossy side down into the inks and twist.
6. Lift to reveal.
7. If there is still ink left add more blending solution and use another sheet of glossy to
collect it. (This called a ‘second-generation print.’)
8. When finished sprinkle blending solution onto sheet and wipe clean with a paper towel.
9. Stamp light house and verse with black ink.
