Essential Glue Pad with Pigment Powders

Supplies:
Essential Glue Pad (Tsukineko)
Brush
Glue
Tissue
Black cardstock, white cardstock
Black ink pad (Versafine)
1/8” hole punch
Pop dots
Decorative Paper
Stamps (Deadbeat Designs and Stampendous)
Pigment powders: Duo blue-green, Micro Pearl, Flamingo Pink, Interference Blue
Edge Distressing tool (Heidi Swap)
Decorative edge scissors
Directions:
1. Stamp
image with glue pad onto black cardstock (2 ⅜” x 4 ½”).
2. Apply
pigment powder with brush, one color at a time until all the image is covered
with powder. Brush off excess, the lightly wipe over with tissue to clean up
image. Set aside to dry thoroughly.



3. Cut
decorative paper 5 ½” x 2 ⅜” (top); 5 ½” x 1 ¾” (bottom) and a strip of black
cardstock cut with decorative edge scissors. Adhere all to a white panel 5 ½” x
4 ¼” (this will give the decorative paper some support but will not show.)
4. Stamp
the background with black ink.
5. Layer
this panel onto slightly larger black panel.
6. Adhere
to folded white card front.
7. Distress
the edge of the butterfly card, with distressing tool, adhere to white
cardstock, cut with decorative edge scissors.
8. Punch
hole on the lower left and upper right corners, attach ribbon through holes.
9. Adhere panel with pop
dots to background panel
