Window Display-Large Version

By Stephanie Loomis
Trailblazers
Mixed-Media Team Designer

Supplies:
Stamp sets:  Hearts in Touch
Ink:
    Brilliance Gold; Lightning Black (Tsukineko)
    Versafine Onyx Black (Tsukineko)
Paper:
    Cut three sets:
Bazzill brick (5 ½” x 3”---folded in half and scored)
        Ivory cardstock (5 ¾” x 3” plus scrap)
Accessories:
IKanDee Chalks:  Pastels, Earth Tones, Basic Brights (Pebbles Inc)
     Glitter (Powder Keg)
     Quickie Glue Pen (Sakura)
Radiant Rain shimmering mist-Iridescent Gold (LuminArte)

 Shimmer ribbon

Directions (Finished dimensions are 3x3” high and expands outward) :

1.  Score ivory cardstock at 1 ½”, 2 ¾”, and 4”. Fold into valley/mountain/valley orientations.

2.      Cut a 2” square hole in the center of the ivory cardstock (the mountain fold will be in the center of the square.)

3.      Stamp Noel image on each of the ivory panels with black ink as shown. Stamp again on scrap ivory (this will be cut up for dimension).

4.      Attach ivory panels to Bazzil panels at the two edges. The Bazzil center fold should be a valley fold while the ivory should be a mountain fold, making the window pop out.

5.      Connect three sections:  Hold first panel so that the window faces you. Hold the second panel so that the window faces away from you. Glue right side of panel one to the left side of panel two. Hold panel three with the window facing you. Glue the left side of panel three to the right of panel two. At this point, the red covers should look like a capital letter M from the top (or “bird’s eye”) view. There should be three diamonds made up of red covers and ivory windows from this same angle.

6.      Color center section of ivory panels (it’s the far right section from panel one and the far left section from panel three).

7.      Color and cut out images from scrap and glue to center section to hide repetition of images. Add glitter to trees using the quickie glue pen.

8.      Stamp Christmas Greetings across top of ivory panels with Lightning Black Ink.

9.      Spray entire assemblage with Radiant Rain.

10.  Tie closed with ribbon.
