Supply List:
Mayflower Stamp (Hearts In Touch)
Archival Ink Pad in Russet Brown (Ranger)
Dark Brown Cat's Eye Ink Pad (Colorbox)
Clear Embossing Powder (Creative Living)
16 copper colored 1/8" brads (Making Memories)
2 copper colored eyelets (Making Memories)
Deckle Paper Edger (Stampin Up)
Wonder Tape ¼” (Suze Weinberg)
Cream colored Paper 8.5 x 11" (Generic)
Rust Cardstock 8.5 x 11" (Club Scrap)
Light Rust Cardstock 8.5 x 11" (Club Scrap)
Rust colored mat board 5 x 7" (Found Item)
2 pieces light weight chip board 1 x 3"
Scissors (EK Success Titanium Cutterbee)
Paper Trimmer (EK Success)
Hole Punch and Eyelet setting tools (Making Memories)
Crop-a-Dile (WR Memory Keepers)

Instructions:

1.      On the cream colored paper, create two stamped images of the Mayflower image in Russet Brown ink. Using the paper edger, tear away the excess paper around each of the images about 1/8" away. Distress the torn edges with the dark brown ink. Measure your image and add 1/4" to each measurement.

2.      Using your measurements, cut two mats from the light rust colored cardstock and attach the stamped images with four of the copper brads, using one in each corner to each mat.

3.      With the paper trimmer, cut the dark rust cardstock into two 5½”x8½” pieces. Place the two pieces of cardstock face side together and create four holes evenly spaced with the Crop-a-Dile. Turn the pieces right side out and tack the short edges of the two pieces with the adhesive and secure with four brads to create a piece of paper approximately 5½” x 17". Bend the two open ends of the paper toward each other to create an oval shape, tack with adhesive, and secure with the brads to create a container. Distress the mouth of the container with the dark brown ink.

4.      Center the oval container on top of the mat board. Take the two pieces of chipboard and bend each one about an inch from one end. Tack each piece with adhesive inside the oval piece to the mat board and remove the oval shaped container piece. With the eyelet setting tools, attach the chipboard to the mat board to create legs. On the outside edges of the mat board that is standing up, place a strip of adhesive.

5.      Attach the stamped and matted images to the faces of the container with the Crop-a-Dile and brads, remove the protective cover from the adhesive on the chipboard pieces and slide the container over them. Lightly press the container against the chipboard legs to adhere. Fill and enjoy.
