By: Betti Geis

Supplies
:
Stamps-On Gossamer Wings (Stampin’ Up!)
Shades of Periwinkle Blending Box Ink (Dee Gruening)
Forever Blue Perfect Pearls (Ranger)
Perfect Medium (Ranger)
Soft brush
Vintage Copper Brads (Making Memories)
Hole punch (or large push pin)
Mouse pad or 3mm fun foam pad
Copper cord-Making Memories
Card stock: White glossy, Light blue, Navy blue
Foam Squares-Making Memories

Instructions:

1.       Cut glossy card stock 3 ¾” x 4 ¾.”   Apply the Perfect Medium directly to the floral image and randomly stamp four times on the glossy card stock. Dust over the stamped images with Forever Blue Perfect Pearls.

2.        Using a direct to paper approach, create a background on this same design section.  To do this, apply the blending box ink pad directly over the stamped image and pull it across the glossy card stock.  Repeat as necessary until a satisfied effect is achieved.  Refer to photo for guidance. If your pad is very juicy, use a lighter, direct-to-paper touch.  Set aside to dry.

3.       Repeat the above step on a 3¼” x 3¼” piece of glossy with the floral image centered.

4.       Cut a piece of navy blue card stock to 5” x 4” and one 3 ½” x 3 ½.”

5.       Turn your small piece at an angle on top of the navy blue piece and use the push pin and mouse pad to punch holes for brads. 2 at the top one centered at the bottom.

6.       Attach vintage brads.

7.       Attach gold cord to the back of main design piece and wrap around three times.  Ending at the back, secure the cords with tape.  Apply foam mounting squares to the back of each corner and set aside.

8.       To make the card, cut light blue card stock to invitation size 11”x 4¾” and fold in half.

9.       Mount the 4”x5” Navy Blue card stock to the lt. blue card with adhesive of choice.

10.   Remove backing from foam squares of the design layer and adhere to top of card.

11.   This elegant and quick card will look like you have labored hours over the process!
