Snowflake Stamp (Close To
My Heart) Instructions: 1. Stamp snowflake stamp onto red patterned paper with metallic ink, let dry completely. 2. Cut Green pinecone paper into a large circle using circle cutter and also cut a 3” x 12” strip. Mat the patterned strip by cutting the green cardstock ¼” larger than the patterned strip and adhere with double stick tape. 3. Cut or tear Green Plaid patterned paper to 7” x 12”. I put a curvy edge on the bottom. Adhere this paper to the red background paper with double stick tape. Refer to photo. 4. Add Circle to the upper right area overlapping the green plaid by ½ of the circle. Add the 3” strip to the bottom of the plaid patterned paper. 5. Using circle cutter, cut 3 of the same size circles out of green cardstock. Adhere the Art Accentz snowflake adhesive onto the circle rubbing it onto the cardstock and peel away the plastic backing. Using a plastic bag to catch excess, rub the metallic foil flakes onto the snowflake adhesive until it is completely rubbed in and the outlines of the snowflakes can be seen clearly. Attach to the strip at the bottom of the page. 6. Mat photo with green cardstock and then double mat with the green plaid patterned paper. Attach to the page on the upper left. 7. Put the vellum quote on green cardstock and attach with metallic brads. Cut three holes in the top of the quote and tie ribbon through the holes. 8. Using the Snow Writer, outline the large circle and the small circles with imitation snow. Also, using the Snow writer, draw stitch lines on the photo frame and write your title. 9. Attach the vellum tag to the upper right side of the page, off to the side of the circle. If you would like to print this technique including a near-full size image of the layout, click here.
