By Jeni Calkins
Scrampin' Love Bug
Beginning Scramping Team Designer

Juice cans lid make a wonderful frame to showcase a small collage. I was able to show the personalities of my two boys with lots of different elements, yet still keep the page neat and clean.

Supplies:

•  Distress Ink - Vintage Photo (Ranger)
•  Juice Can Lids (Design Originals)
•  Distressables (Design Originals)
•  Patterned Paper (Design Originals)
•  Bottle Cap Stickers (Design Originals)
•  Black Cardstock (Astrobrights)
•  Brown Cardstock (KMA)
•  Tweezers (Unknown)
•  Zip Dry Paper Glue (Beacon)
•  Scissors (Fiskars)
•  Hermafix Tabs (Herma)
•  Sizzix Dies – Doodle Block Lower Case  (Provocraft)

Instructions:

  1. Closely trim the small size photos.

  1. Choose some small size words and letters from the Distressables that describe the photo, trim closely. Using tweezers, ink the edge of the words and letters.

  1. Ink the rim of the back of the juice can lid and stamp it onto the back of theprinted-paper, (this will be a template) trim around ink line. Mount on the inside of the front of the juice can lid.

  1. Arrange the photos, bottle cap sticker, words and letters on the juice can lids and glue into place.

  1. Tear printed-paper in half; ink the edge and mount onto brown cardstock.

  1. Mount the photo on black cardstock and then to the layout.

  1. Die cut letters from black cardstock and glue to the layout.
