Microbead Stamped Image

By Becky Lemire
Off-Road Inksters
Intermediate Scramping Team Designer

Supplies:

•  Candle Rubber Stamp (Too Much Fun Rubberstamps)
•  Burnt Umber Palette Inkpad (Stewart Superior)
•  Holly Background Paper (Christmas Slab III by Provo Craft) -12" x 12"
•  Red Background Paper (Christmas Slab III by Provo Craft)
    1 - cut to 3" x 11 3/4"
    2 - cut to 4" x 5 1/2"
•  White Vellum (TAC) - 2 - cut to 3 1/8" x 8 1/2" **Print title before cutting these
•  Brushed Gold Cardstock (SU) - four pieces cut to 2 1/4" x 2 1/4"
•  White Cardstock
•  Twinkling H2O's (Luminarte)
•  Four red candle shaped eyelets (Eyelets, etc.)
•  Clear Glass Microbeads
•  Waterbrush (TAC)
•  Eyelet Setter/hole punch (Click It)
•  Peel n Stick double sided adhesive (Therm o Web)
•  Scotch Double Stick Tape (3M)

Instructions:

1.    Cut all papers and cardstock as stated in the supplies.

2.    Ink up candle stamp with the burnt umber inkpad.  Stamp this image four times on a piece of white cardstock.  Color in the image with Twinkling H2O's.  Let dry.

3.    Cut out the candle images leaving a little bit of white showing around the edge.  Peel off backing of the double stick adhesive sheet and place the four candle images face down onto the adhesive.  Cut the images out along the border of the stamped image so that no white cardstock can be seen.  Pour some microbeads into a small container (big enough for the candle images to be placed).  Peel off the front of the adhesive sheet and place onto the microbeads.  Move the pieces around in the microbeads so that you will get full coverage of your stamped image.

4.    Adhere these microbead covered images to the cut gold cardstock squares.  These squares can now be adhered to the 3" x 11 3/4" piece of red background paper as shown in photo.  Adhere this entire piece to the left side of the holly background paper.  Adhere the two remaining pieces of red background paper to the right of the candle images, centered top to bottom.

5.    I printed the title on a piece of white vellum using Two Peas Squish font (font size 32) for "Christmas" and AL Afternoon Delight font (font size 175) for "Blessings".

6.    Attach the two vellum pieces on the top and bottom of the page using the red candle eyelets.

7.    Adhere photos to the two red pieces of background paper.
