Patterned Paper (Amscan Inc.)
Green Cardstock

Instructions

1.                Attach the shading point tip to the Versa-Tool handle; burn flowers into a CD. Do the same with the cork. Use the very tip to draw the squiggly line for the stem. (Note: The CD melts quickly – this does not take very long!)

2.                Dip the plastic end of a paintbrush into red acrylic paint and dot the middle for the center of the flowers.

3.                After the Shading point tip is COMPLETELY cooled, remove the shading point tip and attach the flow point tip; burn title into the cork. Using the same point, burn the date into CD.

4.                Paint the edges of the CD with the same red metallic acrylic paint.

5.                Stamp fern sprig on background using green dye ink.

6.                Cut your mat ¼ inch larger than the picture.

7.                Attach mat and picture with Hermafix.

8.                Print names on vellum. Cut to fit inside of the metal name plates.

9.                Attach name plates to the matting with mini silver brads.

10.           Attach fiber, title and buttons using Zots Glue Dots.

11.           Attach CD’s Elmer’s Craft Bond. These are rather heavy so you want to use a fairly strong adhesive.
