of the Wild Card template on glossy white cardstock and cut out.
-
Trace the cut out tag
on dark blue Sparkles cardstock and cut out.
-
Trace the dark blue
cardstock on a piece of folded cornflower blue cardstock with the fold along
the top and cut out.
-
Use the tip of the
mini iron to melt the lightest color of blue crayon.
-
Allow the droplets of
melted crayon to fall randomly on the glossy cardstock
-
Repeat with the
darker shades of blue.
-
Use the iron to blend
the colors and create the texture or smoothness you prefer.
-
Melt a small portion
of silver crayon on the tip of the iron.
-
Lightly rub the tip
of the iron over the surface of the melted blue wax taking care to use a light
touch. Repeat as necessary.
-
Stamp the snowflake
blocks on white cardstock with Starry Night ink.
-
Cut and mount on dark
blue Sparkles cardstock.
-
Rub the surface of
the snowflake blocks with Stickles glitter.
-
Assemble layers as
shown in picture with MonoAdhesive. Add bead embellishment with Crystal
Lacquer. Use Wonder Tape to glue the snowflake blocks on the melted crayon
surface.
Notes
For best results, use a
smaller-sized iron that does not have holes in the plate. Household irons
covered with aluminum foil would create a similar look but are cumbersome to
handle. Similar looks could be achieved by melting small pieces of crayon on
aluminum foil with a heat gun.
