Christmas Photo Box

By Terri Doney
Hot Rod Scrampers
Advanced Scramping Team Designer

When you present this Photo Box as a gift, include a list of ideas that the recipient could use for recycling the box.  This project is a keeper!

Supplies:

•  Christmas Gingerbread Boy Stamp (TAC)
•  Christmas Large Poinsettia Stamp (TAC)
•  Christmas Small Poinsettia Stamp (TAC)
•  Fired Brick and Weathered Wood Distressing Inkpads (Ranger)
•  Alcohol Inks your choice (Ranger)
•  Striped patterned paper (Anna Griffin)
•  Light Green Cardstock, 1 sheet size 12”x12”
•  Glossy Cardstock
•  Coluzzle Popcorn Box Template
•  Coluzzle Mat
•  Coluzzle knife
•  Adhesive
•  Bone Folder
•  Sidekick
•  Sizzlit Christmas Poinsettia die
•  12” Sizzlit Border Die

Instructions:

1.     Cut a box from the Coluzzle template using the Coluzzle mat and knife.  Score at the folds according to template diagram using the bone folder.  Stamp randomly with large poinsettia, small poinsettia, and gingerbread boy in Weathered Wood distressing ink on outside of the box you have created.  Once the ink is dry, fold the scored fold lines so the box comes together and glue in the appropriate places.

2.     To make the alcohol inked poinsettia leaves, dab the alcohol inks onto glossy cardstock and then cut with the Sizzlit Christmas poinsettia die (I used two cut outs).  Punch out the poinsettia berry holes in the die cut, and place a small piece of berry colored Bazzill behind the die cut.

3.     Cut a rickrack border using the 12” border die from the striped patterned paper. Place that at the upper edge of the box and adhere the matted Christmas tree photo on it. Attach die cut poinsettias to the front.

4.     Use another piece of the rickrack to tie around the top of the box to close it.
