Altered Clipboard

By Missy Cahoon
Hot Rod Scrampers
Advanced Scramping Team Designer

Supplies:

•  White card stock (Wal-Mart)
•  Royal Blue card stock (Stampin’ Up!)
•  Clip Board
•  Decoupage Finish (Royal Coat)
•  Go Team Ribbon (unknown)
•  Silver Paint Pen (Krylon)
•  Royal Blue Acrylic Paint (Plaid)
•  Cheerleading template (unknown)
•  Tacky Glue (Aileen’s)
•  Cheerleading buttons (Michael’s)
•  Paint Brush (Michael’s)
•  Foam brush  (Michael’s)

Instructions:

1.      Paint the front and back of the clipboard with paintbrush using Royal Blue acrylic paint. Allow to dry.

2.     Using template, color in paw prints all over the front and back of clipboardusing the Silver Krylon pen.

3.     Paint a layer of Decoupage on the backside of the clipboard with the foam brush.

4.     Mat pictures in blue and then white card stock leaving ¼” border. Place them onto the wet decoupage. Press down firmly and allow to dry.

5.     Add several coats of decoupage to cover the height of the matted pictures. Allow drying time in-between each coat.

6.     Repeat steps on the front of the clipboard if desired. I only put pictures on the back of my board because I really use it and the front is covered with paper and such.

7.     Thread a button through the ribbon and attach to the top of the clipboard. Cut the back off the other button and attach to the front of the clip with tacky glue.
