By Jeni Calkins

Want to turn a scrapbook page in to a pin you can show off every day? Want a great way to keep you kids or grandkids close to your heart? Using Memory Glass, Distressables, and index size photos, you can complete a 1 ½” collage that is the perfect accessory to brighten up your wardrobe.

Supplies:

•  Stamp - Elements (After Midnight Art Stamps)
•  Pigment Ink Pads – Terra Cotta, Canary (Color Box)
•  Alcohol Inks - Butterscotch, Terra Cotta (Ranger)
•  White Cardstock (Foxriver)
•  Patterned Paper (Design Originals)
•  Memory Glass 1 ½’ X 1 ½” (Ranger)
•  Distressables (Design Originals)
•  Bottle Cap Stickers (Design Originals)
•  Furnace Tape (Home Improvement Store)
•  Copper Foil Tape (Unknown)
•  Tweezers (Unknown)
•  Glue Stick (Tombo)
•  Fabri- Tac (Beacon Adhesives)
•  Pin Back (Walmart)
•  Scissors (Fiskars)

Instructions: (scan 1)

1.    Cut white cardstock to the size of your memory glass.  Stamp image using Terra Cotta ink.  Rub stamped image with Canary Ink Pad using direct to paper.  Tear a scrap of pattern paper and ink the edge with Terra Cotta.  Glue it to the side of the stamped square and trim to fit.

2.    Print photos in index size or use the index you get with your developed photos.  Cut out photo, words and letters; ink edges and glue in place.

3.    Rub some Alcohol Inks onto the Furnace Tape and trim it to ¼” width and 6 ¼” length.

4.    Place collage between two pieces of memory glass. Starting on the side of the bottom of the glass, run the tape around the glass. Clip the tape a tiny bit in each of the corners then fold the tape over onto the front and the back.

 5.    Glue the pin back on.
