Brushless Water Color By
Betti Geis Try these tips to get effortless watercolor results! You can spritz your stamp several times and do several generations of the same stamp without re-inking the stamp. Each image will be a little lighter than the last one. Speed dry the stamped image with a heat tool immediately after stamping. Otherwise, it will tend to soak into the paper and loose some of the watercolor effect. Supplies:
Hydrangea Stamp (TAC) Instructions: 1. Cut Blue green card stock 5 ½x 11 and fold in half. Stamp randomly in blue green ink with hydrangea stamp and word stamp; set aside. 2. Cut Ultra smooth white card stock 4 ½ x 4 ½. 3. Using the inkpads ink up the Hydrangea stamp with as many colors as you like. Spritz with water then stamp on ultra smooth white card stock. Immediately dry with heat gun to keep the watercolor effect. 4. When dry ink the edges of the white card stock with the blue green inkpad. 5. Attach to front of the blue green card with Tombow glue stick. Stamp word stamps randomly on top of white card stock. 6. Cut ribbon to fit card tie in knot on front or bow if preferred.
