Jennifer Caputo
Hot Rod Scrampers

I made this layout about Tim’s demonstrations at the Club Scrap Retreat.  The piece of art in the corner was made and signed by Tim.

Supplies

Distress Inks (Ranger)
Road Trip Patterned Paper and Cardstock (Club Scrap)
Chipboard Letters (Heidi Swapp)
Mosaic Tiles (Club Scrap)
Adhesive (Glue Dots)
Xyron
Small 9 piece puzzle (source unknown)
Scissors (Tonic)
Sandpaper
Wide Format Printer (Epson)
Tim’s Artwork
Glossy Paper
Treeline stamp (Just for Fun)
Alcohol Inks (Ranger)
Archival Ink (Ranger)

Instructions

1.  Put your puzzle together and then lay it right side down on the back sheet of your patterned paper.

2.  Trace the shape of the puzzle and one by one, remove puzzle pieces and trace the area you just removed with a pencil.  Continue until you have traced each individual puzzle piece.

3.  Cut out all of the pieces!

4.  Ink around the edges of the cut out paper pieces with Distress Ink.

5.  Run the puzzle pieces through the Xyron and adhere them to the original puzzle pieces.

6.  Distress the Chipboard Letters and the 2 photos with a bit of sandpaper.  Ink the edges of the photos with distress ink.

7.  Print journaling on background paper using a wide-format printer.

8.  Assemble pieces as shown distressing all edges of everything!!  (why not?!)
