Instructions:

To Create Faux Webbing Backgrounds:

    1. Cut background cardstock.

    2. Tear about 8” of plastic wrap and ball it in your hand.  Press plastic wrap in Versamark Ink pad, then *lightly* pounce on cardstock.

    3. Sprinkle with super fine embossing powder and heat with heating tool to melt.

Note: You can achieve different webbing looks by the amount of pouncing and the pressure you apply when pouncing. It is also important to use super fine embossing powder to achieve a feathery look similar to webbing.

Signs of Autumn Card:

1.    Cut Black cardstock to 3 3/8” x 5”.  Follow directions in step 1 above and usegold super fine embossing powder to create webbing on cardstock.  Adhere Black cardstock to 4” x 5 Ό “ Barn Red cardstock.  Adhere this layer to a 4 Ό” x 5 ½“ Black card.

2.    Cut Barn Red cardstock to 2 ½” x 3 ½“.  Stamp “Best Wishes” verse with Versamark ink, sprinkle with gold embossing powder and heat with heating tool to melt. Adhere this piece to Black cardstock cut Ό “ larger. Adhere layered verse to front of card.

3.    Stamp 3 leaves from Signs of Autumn set using Versamark ink on white daisy cardstock.  Sprinkle with gold embossing powder and heat with heating tool to melt.

4.    Use the watercolor brush and Golden Ember, Autumn Terracotta and Barn Red ink from inkpads to paint each leaf. Paint by starting with lighter ink in the center and changing to darker inks as you move toward the outside edges of each leaf.

5.    Cut leaves out and adhere with pop dots to front of card as shown.

Halloween Card:

1.    Cut Autumn Terracotta cardstock to 3 3/8” x 5”.  Follow directions in step 1 above and use black super fine embossing powder to create webbing on cardstock.

2.    Adhere Autumn Terracotta cardstock to 4” x 5 Ό“ Black cardstock.  Adhere this layer to a 4 Ό” x 5 ½“ Colonial White card.

3.    Using Versamark ink, stamp cat from Scarecrow Party stamp set on a 2” x 2 3/8” piece of Autumn Terracotta cardstock. Sprinkle with black embossing powder and heat with heating tool to melt.  Adhere this to a piece of black cardstock cut Ό” larger.  Adhere layered piece to front of card.

4.    Using Versamark ink & black embossing powder, stamp and heat emboss the word “it’s” from Happy Day stamp set, “baby” from Sweet Occasions stamp set, and “Halloween” from Scarecrow Party stamp set on Autumn Terracotta cardstock. Hand cut to desired shapes. Adhere each word to a larger piece of black cardstock and hand cut the black cardstock a little larger.

5.    Position & adhere the word Halloween to card front.  Using pop dots, position & adhere the words “it’s” & “baby” to card front.

Daisy Card:

1.    Cut Ocean cardstock to 4” x 5 Ό”.  Follow directions in step 1 above and use silver super fine embossing powder to create webbing on cardstock.  Adhere background cardstock layer to a 4 Ό” x 5 ½“ White Daisy card.

2.    Stamp the “For You” verse using Ocean ink on 1 ½” x 2 ½“ piece of White Daisy cardstock. Adhere to Ocean cardstock cut Ό“ larger.  Adhere to front of card.
