Instructions:

1.    Print off a 4” x 6” photo onto sheet of Artists Canvas and cut out.

2.    Mount picture onto 4 ½” x 6 ½” piece of Beach House Black paper and a 7” x 7” piece of the Beach House Red paper to create a double mat. Adhere as shown on the buttercup paper.

3.    Adhere the trimmed pieces of Inspirational Words paper. Cut to size: 6 ½” x 4” and 4” x 6 ½”.  Adhere to buttercup paper as shown in photo. Do the same with a cut of the Beach House Red paper, Cut to size: 4” x 4 ½”.

4.    On the 6 ½” x 4” piece, adhere the canvas tag, which has been mounted onto a piece of the red and black papers.  Make sure there is a Ό” allowance along the tag mat.  Punch a 1/8” hole and set a silver snap with a scrap of black paper.  Staple on a scrap piece of the licorice ribbon to the top and bottom center of the tag. Add on 2 scrap pieces of the pewter ribbon to the right and left bottom of the tag. Last, stamp desired letters onto the canvas tag.

5.    Punch out 4 – 1 ½” squares with the punch. Paint each square and let dry. Stamp out desired letters and attach ribbons to alternating sides of the square “tiles”. Mount the finished squares with foam tape and place onto the cut red paper (4” x 4 ½”) on top of the cut mesh.

6.    Take heart stamp and brush evaporated milk onto it. Stamp onto a light gray cardstock and heat set with embossing heat tool (**the longer heat is applied to the stamped image, the darker and browner it will become). Tear around the image and ink around the edges. Highlight the image with Pearl-Ex by using a cotton swab and rubbing in the color.

7.    Mount the stamped image onto torn pieces of maroon cardstock and the Beach House Red paper. Staple pieces of maroon and pewter ribbons to the upper left corner. Adhere the finished piece with foam tape to the black word paper.

8.    Make a 1/8” hole to each of the four top-most corners on the finished page. Place the brown snaps in the holes and set into place with hammer.

9.    Highlight printed photo by very lightly dry brushing the warm white acrylic paint onto it.
