Color Wash Background~Emboss resist By
Jeni Calkins
Still want more of the color washes? How about using them for a resist. Start with one of the papers you completed using any background techniques. Stamp it with clear embossing ink or emboss it in clear embossing powder and spray it with a contrasting color.
Wear gloves, old clothes, and work in an area protected by newspaper. Color a sheet of paper with the color washes using one of the techniques already discussed, let dry. Then stamp your image with versamark and emboss in clear. If you want a very subtle image just use the embossing ink.
Spray your paper with water, and next with a contrasting color of color wash.
