Instructions:

1.         Take 6” x 6” card board piece and tear a small piece of the bottom
edge (to expose the cardboard “ribbing).  Do the same on the 6” x ½” piece
and then place through the paper crimper.

2.         On the 6” x 6” piece, paint 2 - Ό” borders. Paint the outer border with
copper paint and the inner border with white. Paint will dry quickly on the
cardboard. Dry brush white paint onto the crimped surface of the 6” x ½” piece
(make sure some of the brown from the cardboard shows).

3.         Take a piece of 10” x 10” green paper and tear approximately 1” off of the
bottom edge (Remember, to tear toward you for a more controlled tear). Adhere
the blue paper about Ό” from the left edge of the green paper.

4.         Punch 3 holes and set the square eyelets with eyelet tool.

5.         Use 3-pieces for the page title out of the oatmeal cardstock;
cut to size: 2” x 1”, 3” x 1” and 1 Ό” x 1 Ό”. Carefully make small a small tear
line on the bottom and side edges on all three pieces.

6.         Using the double-hole piercing attachment on the Click-It tool, punch in each
corner of the torn pieces. Stitch with the candlewicking thread to create stitched
look as shown.

7.         Stamp letters and numbers with Sepia ink onto the pieces and adhere to the
page with photo adhesive.

8.         Pink the edges of the 2 ½” x 4” linen piece and make freehand cross-stitches
in the fabric. Adhere with adhesive dots and place onto 6” x 6” cardboard piece.
Adhere cut photo onto the created mat and add on the black photo corners. Lightly
dry brush a small amount of white paint on top (make sure some black shows through).

9.         Adhere 6” x ½” cardboard piece to the page with glue dots. Overlap the last linen
piece onto the cardboard. Then create freehand stitches onto the fabric (this will, also,
attach it to the cardboard).

10.     Create freehand cross-stitches on the left corners and side of the joining green
and blue paper.

11.     Journal onto circle tag and thread through fiber piece and some candlewicking thread,
tie a double knot. Adhere tag onto page.

12.     Use cotton swabs and inks to “color-in” papers and tag to create a distressed look.
