Instructions

1.                Cut out all papers and cardstock as directed in the supplies.

2.                Punch the corners of the white cardstock and slide the photo into the slits.

3.                Mount single flower stamp on acrylic block. Heat the large plastic/nylon washers with heat tool until the washer is very soft and immediately stamp down into the heated plastic using the flower stamp. Press down for a few seconds and remove. Repeat on second large washer.

4.                Mix White Pearl Lumiere paint with some Duo Red-Blue Pearl-Ex powder.  Paint flowers that you just stamped and the rim of the seven small screw covers and three larger screw covers. Paint the stem and leaves of the stamped flowers with the Metallic Olive Lumiere.

5.                Put the large gold brads through the large stamped flower center (which was where the hole for the washer is-it enlarges slightly when heated) and through the holes of the three larger screw covers. Put the mini gold brads through the seven smaller screw covers. Open the wings of the brads and leave them exposed outside the "flower" as leaves.

6.                Attach the large stamped flower washers using foam tape on the bottom right and bottom left corners of the page.

7.                Attach the photo as shown in the top left of the page using double stick tape.

8.                Glue four small screw cover flowers to the four corners of the photo using Crystal Lacquer.

9.                Attach the bookplate to the bottom center of the page using two larger screw cover flowers using the gold brads to attach through the background paper.

10.           Using a computer and printer, type out what the tag will have on it. Using the ruler on your document page you can approximate how wide your words will be to make sure it will be within the margins of your tag. Print out on white cardstock and line up your tag to the words. Tape tag over the printed words using repositionable tape or double-sided tape (stick on your shirt first to let it lose some stickiness). By holding the cardstock and tag up to the light you will be able to see where everything is going to line up. Run the cardstock with the tag through your printer again to print on the tag. Print out a title for your bookplate using the computer again.

11.           Cut out title to the size of the bookplate and slide title in. (You can use some double-sided tape on the back of the title to keep the cardstock from moving around).

12.           Put a large screw cover flower through the hole in the tag and flare the wings out. Tape the tag to the right side of the page as shown using double-sided tape.

13.           Glue the remaining three small screw cover flowers around the tag as shown using Crystal Lacquer.
