Accordion Book

Supplies: 

·        Stamp Sets: 
        Serenading the Moon (TAC)
        Best of Buds (TAC)
        Memories (TAC)
        Girlfriends (TAC)
        Miracle of Friendship (TAC)
        Listen with the Heart (TAC)

·        Inks:
        Staz-On Jet Black (Tsukineko) or Palette Noir (Stewart Superior~TAC)

·        Cardstock:
    White Cardstock 5” x 25”
Heavy Colored Cardstock papers:
    4-6 coordinating colors (Basic Grey Sublime Collection, Bazzil)
    Darkest color cut to 6” x 12”
(Other colors cut at artist’s whim for backgrounds and layering)

·        Ribbon for closure

·        Self-adhesive hook and loop (Velcro) for closure

·        Flat charms, slide mounts, other embellishments as desired

·        Paper Corrugator

Instructions:

1.                  Fold and score 25” cardstock into 5 sections using a mountain/valley fold.

2.                  Run 6” x 12” heavy cardstock through paper corrugator

3.                  Wrap 6” x 12” heavy cardstock around accordion so that the book cover opens just off center.

4.                  Be sure accordion book opens right to left.

5.                  Using the sentiment stamps, create tributes to the friends being honored. 

6.                  Decorate and embellish as desired.

7.                  Attach photos to as many pages as desired—but NOT to the last page.

8.                  When satisfied with the look, adhere the back page of the accordion to the cover.

9.                  Secure cover with a hook/loop closure (Velcro).

10.              Wrap book with ribbon and embellish as desired.
