Instructions

1.  Cut your cardstock, photos and paper to the following dimensions

        Blue Cardstock:
4" x 4½"= Journal Block (Tear bottom after printing journaling)
                4½" x 5½"= Photo Mat
                1½” x 12”= Accent Strip

        Yellow Paper:
5" x 12 "= Side Accent Strip (tear the Right side)

        White Glossy Cardstock:
                2" x 3½"= To Stamp On

        Photos:
                3Ύ” x 4½”= Top Right
                3½” x 4”= Bottom Left
                3½” x 4”= Bottom Middle
                4” x 4”= Bottom Right

2.    Ink up the Birthday Bird Stamp with the Noir Ink Pad.  Stamp onto the Glossy White Cardstock.  Color the image using the markers and the picture as a guide.

The Loose Glitter & Xyron Technique:

3.  After the marker ink has dried, cut around the image closely.   Turn the image upside down and run it through the Xyron.  This will make the adhesive layer on top.  Peel the paper off of the image.  Pour some of the Crystal Glitter into the Tidy Tray.  Place the stamped image face down into the glitter.  Press it into the glitter and move it around as needed to cover the image with a layer of the glitter.  Shake & tap off any excess back into the Tidy Tray.  Pour the remaining glitter back into the container.

The Loose Glitter & Tacky Tape Technique:

4.    Place tape around the borders of the Blue Mat as shown.  Peel the red cover off of the tape as you go exposing the adhesive.  Pour some of the Silver Ultra fine Glitter into the Tidy Tray.  Place the Tacky Tape face down into the glitter.  Press it into the glitter and move it around as needed to cover the tape with a layer of the glitter.  Shake & tap off any excess back into the Tidy Tray.  Pour the remaining glitter back into the container.

The Loose Glitter & UTEE Technique:

5.  Ink up the entire Blue Accent strip with the Versamark Ink Pad.  Sprinkle a layer of UTEE onto it and melt with the Heat Gun.  Add more UTEE either as the first layer melts or after is has cooled re-ink the strip and then pour on another layer.  Heat this second layer until it has melted.  *Things are about to get messy!  While this second layer is still hot, sprinkle Pink and Silver Glitter into it.  To keep it melted while you do this, you will have to keep heating it with your heat gun.  It will end up blowing glitter around your workspace.  Don’t let your kids see you making such a mess – you’ll never hear the end of it!  Continue adding the silver and pink glitter until you like the results.  Let it cool.  Re-ink it all again with the Versamark pad.  Add another layer of UTEE to keep the glitter under control.  Heat set this final layer.

6.  Print your journaling.

7.  Assemble the page as shown.  Use Pop Dots behind the Birthday Bird.
