Bottle cap collages make fun little embellishments for all
types of paper arts. There’s no need to be apprehensive in using them for
scrapping layouts. They add plenty of interest, and the bulk is minimal.
Supplies:
- Distress Ink - Vintage Photo (Ranger)
- Pigment Inkpad – Silver (Color Box)
- Bottle Caps (Design Originals)
- Distressables (Design Originals)
- Patterned Paper (Design Originals)
- Bottle Cap Stickers (Design Originals)
- Black Cardstock (Astrobrights)
- Brown Cardstock (KMA)
- Tweezers (Unknown)
- Zip Dry Paper Glue (Beacon)
- Royal Coat (Plaid)
- Scissors (Fiskars)
- Hermafix Tabs (Herma)
- Sizzix Dies – Pigeon-Toed Charms (Provocraft)
- Brads (Making Memories)
- Aluminum Screen (HomeDepo)
- Watch parts (unknown)
Directions:

- Place the bottle cap sticker into the bottle cap.
Choose some small size words from the Distressables that describe the photo,
trim closely. Using tweezers, ink the edge of the words and arrange in the
bottle cap. Cover with a thin coat of Royal Coat. Add the watch part while
the collage is still wet. Set aside to dry.
- Tear the printed-paper in half; ink the edges, and
mount onto brown cardstock.
- Mount the photo onto black cardstock and ink the edges
with silver pigment ink. Mount photo onto layout.
- Add a strip of aluminum screen above and below the
photo, bend around the back and glue in place.
- Die cut letters from the black cardstock, ink the
letters with silver and attach with brads.
- Glue bottle caps to the layout.
