Brayer Backgrounds Part 2~Lumiere Resist CD Card By
Betti Geis Supplies: Directions: 1. Begin with an 8 ½
x 11 sheet of ultra smooth white card stock. 2. Pour about 1 tbsp. of Pearl White Lumiere paint into a jar cover or other paint receptacle. Add a Ό tsp. or less of the Silver Pearl-Ex and mix well. 3. Use a paint brush and paint directly on to daisy stamps then stamp on cardstock in a desired design. Let this dry over night. 4. When completely dry, ink up the rubber brayer with the Caribbean Sea ink and brayer over the dried Lumiere Paint pattern until the desired color intensity is achieved. Cut to the size of the CD by using the CD as your pattern and draw around it. Adhere the circular piece to the CD with book binding glue. U sing Matter Magic, use the disc that is ½ and draw around the CD onto mirrored card stock. Cut out and adhere CD to mirrored card stock with book binding glue. 5. Cut another piece from the Lumiere Paint design that is 5x 3. Brayer well on both sides with the Caribbean Sea Ink and fold in half. 6. Place floral embellishment in the position you want it and punch hole in the center with hole punch. Attach a brad through the hole as this will adhere embellishment. 7. Apply Sticker to front of card and add fiber. 8. Adhere card to the CD. 9. Embellish inside of card as desired. I cut a butterfly from the leftover background and mounted inside.
