Instructions:

1. With your slicing blade, cut 1/4 of the brown polymer clay, 1/8 of the gold polymer clay, and1/16 of the white polymer clay.  Soften each color by kneading it in your hands.  Roll each color of clay through the pasta machine on setting 4 about 10 times.  Take all the colors of clay sheets and place on top of each other.  Roll through the pasta machine at the largest setting and reefed the clay working your way to the 2 lowest settings.

2. With the spray bottle, spray inside your face mold and push processed clay into face mold.  Be sure to work clay into the creases and nose of the mold.  Remove clay from mold and bake according to manufacture instructions.

3. While the face is being baked, process the wrap for the face.  With your slicing blade, cut 1/4 of the brown polymer clay.  Soften clay by kneading it with your hands.  Roll the brown color clay through the pasta machine at the highest setting.  Re-feed the clay in the pasta machine working your way down to the third setting on the last feed.   Work through each setting around 10 times each.  Make it around 2 inches wide and 9 inches long, then set aside.

4. With the handmade papers, glue them on the top, sides and inside your Altoid tin. Add the cord around the corners and bottom of the outside tin.

5. Add water to the glass vial, but don't fill to top.  Glue to the inside of tin and arrange shells and charms around the vial.  On the inside top, add letters to spell "The Sea Maiden".

6. Bake clay in designated craft oven according to package directions and remove oven when complete.  Add brown wrap completely around the face.  With your finger make little waves around the front of the wrap.  Add shells and charms to the wrap.  Place back in oven and bake according to manufacture instructions.

7.  When face is completely done, add E600 Glue to back and place on the front of the tin.  Add 2 coats of Crystal Glaze, and finish off by securing seashells and charms under the face.

This technique should be crafted in a well ventilated room.
