Instructions:

UTEE Instructions:

  1. Ink the image with India Ink Black that you will be stamping into the UTEE embossing powder and leave sit on top of the stamp pad.  You need to have this ready for when it is time to stamp the image.

  1. Using the Versacolor stamp pads, use the direct to paper method and add the ink to the piece of cardboard.  I did this randomly so both colors would show.

  1. Cover the inked area with UTEE embossing powder.  Melt with heat gun.

  1. Immediately, cover with UTEE again.  This has to be done fast.  If the first layer of UTEE cools off before you add the second layer; it will not stick.  If this happens, heat your cardboard piece again and add the UTEE quickly.  Be careful not to burn yourself as the heat gun and UTEE both get really hot.

  2. Add another layer of UTEE.  You want this to look very smooth and shiny. If it doesn’t; continue adding the layers until it does.

  1. After your last layer of UTEE, do a silent count to 10.  When you’ve reach to count 10, stamp your inked image into the UTEE and hold and count to 10 again.  Lift your stamp.  If it sticks to the UTEE; it’s okay.  Just lift up firmly.  You should have a good image.

  1. Layer the UTEE piece onto the 2 3/8”x2 5/8” piece of brownish colored cardstock.  SET ASIDE.

  1. Layer the printed piece of paper cut 7 ¾”x7 ¾” on top of the rust 8”x8” cardstock.

  2. Layer your photo on top of the 4¼”x6 ¼” piece of brownish cardstock.  SET ASIDE.

  1. Layer the 2”x7 ¾” piece of brownish cardstock on top of the lower part of patterned paper.  I only left a small margin of patterned paper showing at the bottom.

  1. Adhere your matted photo to the left hand side of your layout leaving a small margin of patterned paper showing on the left.

  1. Stamp the word IMAGINE from the Dance with your Spirit set on the ivory cardstock cut 1 ½”x4”.  Tear the paper above and below the word.  Adhere to the 2” x7 ¾” brownish cardstock to the right of the picture.

  1. Stamp the word DREAM from the Dance with your Spirit set on the ivory cardstock cut 1 ½”x2 ¼”.  Tear the paper above and below the word.  Adhere to the brownish cardstock measuring 1 ¾”x2 ¾”.  Tear the top and bottom of the brown and adhere to the top right hand side of the layout.

  1. Layer the UTEE piece on the right hand side of the layout between your words.

You are done!  Hope you enjoyed doing this layout.
