Rita Holmes Supplies:
All things in Nature (TAC, The Angel Company) Instructions Snowflake Card: Fold very pale green cardstock in half for card. Randomly stamp the smallest snowflake and the tiny dots out of the Snowflake set onto the cardstock with the Aspen Mist stamp pad. Tear the light teal cardstock at a diagonal from the top of the 3 ½” side down to the opposite corner. Tear the dark teal cardstock slightly smaller than the light teal in the same fashion and adhere on top of the light teal. Add the three tree brads to the layered teal cardstocks. I did this at the top of the dark teal tear in a diagonal to match the cardstock pattern. Adhere this to the card. Stamp “Warm wishes on your birthday” from the Contemporary Greetings set with silver pigment ink onto the bottom of the dark teal cardstock. Heat emboss with embossing gun. Attach the three snowflake brads to the top right hand corner of your card. OPTIONAL: You can take the 5 ¼”x4” piece of light teal cardstock and attach to the inside of your card to hide the backs of your snowflake brads. Instructions Bird Card:
Fold white 5½”x8 ½” cardstock in half for ford. Layer the brown cardstock on top of the folded white card and set aside. Stamp the bird image from the All Things in Nature set to the bottom center of the 4 ¾”x3 ½” piece of white cardstock with the India Black Ink. Stamp the saying from the same set above the bird to the left with the same ink. Color the bird image with the Prismacolor pencils. Layer the stamped image onto the black piece of cardstock 5”x3 ¾” and adhere together. Add the brads to the top right hand corner of the card with them at a diamond angle. Stagger the brads to give dimension to your card. Adhere the card to the image layers. Enjoy!!! If you would like to print this technique, click here.
