Instructions

1)    Use scrap paper to mask around the embossed light blue strips around each photo square on the preprinted paper.  Randomly stamp with snowflake stamp inked with embossing ink.  Emboss with holographic embossing powder.

2)    Stamp over the embossed snowflakes in a random pattern using snowflake stamp inked with white Versacolor ink.

3)    Cut a piece of vellum to 2 ¼” x 4 7/8”.  Stamp title using classic alphabet inked with All American Blue ink.

4)    Punch two snowflakes from vellum.

5)    To attach stamped vellum to page, hold vellum on top of largest pre-embossed square to the left of the stamped area.  Hold a vellum snowflake where you want each eyelet.  Attach eyelet through snowflake to hold vellum to page.  I used one eyelet on either side of the vellum.

6)    To make shaker:

a.    Stamp snowman image using India Black ink on white cardstock.  Color with Impress markers.  Carefully cut out snowman image.  Attach 3 black beads as his buttons and a piece of matching color fiber as the fringe on his scarf.   Attach snowman to center of pre-embossed circle on page.

b.    Carefully cut a 2 ½” circle from the center of the lace doily. (Do not cut through the edge of the doily)

c.     Press doily into embossing pad and emboss with holographic EP.

d.    Cut a blue circle from blue cardstock slightly smaller than the doily.  Cut the center out so you end up with an open circle (approximately ½” width cardstock remaining).  Attach doily to this blue circle.

e.    Cut an acetate circle approximately 3” across.  Attach to back of doily with blue cardstock.

f.      Cut small pieces of foam tape and apply on the back of the acetate all the way around the opening of the doily.  Be sure to put each piece of tape abutting the prior piece – do not leave any gaps or your glitter will disappear quickly into oblivion!  Apply a second layer directly over the first.

g.    Carefully place approximately ½” teaspoon of glitter directly over the snowman image.  Apply finished doily piece directly over the snowman so he is centered in the opening.  The glitter will move freely inside the space beneath the acetate. Voila – A shaker!

7)    Trim and mount photos to remaining embossed areas on the page.
