Twill Tape StampingBy
Dawn Burke This is a great alternative to buying that expensive preprinted twill tape. Plus, you can customize it to read what you want! Supplies:
Instructions 1. Place the “Dance” Stamp on the 2” x 2” block , ink up with Snow White Dye ink. Randomly stamp on 8 ½” x 11” Black CS. Set aside. 2. Place the “dance with your spirit” on the 1 ½” x 4” block. Ink up with the Black VersaCraft ink. Repeatedly stamp on both of the 10” pieces of the Scarlet Twill Tape. Set aside to dry. Make sure to let the ink dry or it will smear. 3. Take the “Dance” stamp again and ink up with the Black VersaCraft ink. Stamp once in the middle of the 4” piece of the Scarlet Twill Tape. Set aside to dry. Make sure to let the ink dry or it will smear. 4. Mount your selected pictures and program to the Red Metallic paper with Double Stick tape. 5. I used the Black and Icicle Stickles to accent the hat and cane on my program. It adds a lot of shimmer! 6. Punch holes in the corners of each matted picture and program with the 1/8” inch Long Reach Punch. Add the Mini Square Fasteners alternating the colors in the corners. 7. After the Twill Tape is dry, place the 4” stamped piece across the bottom of 1 of your matted pictures. Wrap the edges around the mat and secure with tape. 8. Punch holes on each side of the Twill Tape with the 1/8” inch Long Reach Punch. Add 1 Red Metallic Mini Square Fastener in each hole. 9. Take the 2 pieces 10” Stamped Twill Tape and place on top and bottom of Stamped Black Cardstock. Wrap the edges around the Black Cardstock and secure with tape. 10. Punch holes on each edge of the Twill Tape with the 1/8” inch Long Reach Punch. Add 1 Red Metallic Mini Square Fastener in each hole. 11. Place your matted pictures and program as you please. Secure with Tape or Glue.
