Instructions:

1.                Cut squares from Fun Foam (approx. 2” square depending on the amount of shadow you want around the stamp and the size of the snowflake) using Deckle scissors; heat with Heat Tool until shiny and curling; press clean stamp into hot foam and let cool for several seconds.

2.                Remove stamp and set aside. I used four different snowflakes and created four different stamps. Ink newly created shadow stamp by pressing foam, right side down, into inkpad with fingers. Stamp onto background in the same manner using clean fingers to press down. Remove carefully. Continue stamping background using pink, teal, light blue and dark blue colors until background is covered as desired.

3.                Now, go back and stamp snowflakes in the same colors using original snowflake stamps. Then I went back over the background and added dots using the Speckle stamp.

4.                Mat all pictures on strip of white cardstock, leaving about a Ό” border and Ό” space between pics. Mat the three pictures together again on blue cardstock leaving Ό” border on all sides.  Sponge right side with black ink. Mat again on pink cardstock, leaving a slightly larger border, about 3/8”; sponge right side with black ink. Wrap top left and bottom right with ribbon and glue to back of pink mat with glue dots. Attach snowflake sequins to ribbon with silver brad. Glue to background using Hermafix tabs.

5.                Mat last picture on pink cardstock leaving a Ό” border on all sides except bottom; leave 3/4” additional border at bottom and trim with Deckle scissors; sponge with black ink. Print date on light blue cardstock from scraps (Scribble font, size 20), trim right and left edges with Deckle scissors and sponge with black ink. Glue to bottom of pink mat. Wrap bottom of picture with ribbon and tie knot; attach snowflake sequin with silver brad to right tail. Mat entire picture on light blue cardstock leaving ½” border on all sides. Glue to background tilting at an angle.

6.                Sponge edges of “S” stencil with black ink; layer onto piece of light blue cardstock so the “S” showing through is blue; glue to background.

7.                Print the rest of quote on light blue cardstock (Scribble font, size 26) and cut out; sponge edges with black ink; cut left and right sides with Deckle scissors. Glue to background at different angles.

8.                Using Label Buddy, emboss “snowmen” and names on black tape. Adhere to background in desired places.
